Pirates of the Carribean

Luke was Jack Sparrow for Halloween as most of you probably knew. Therefore ever since we knew we were going to Disneyworld we have been talking up the Pirates of the Carribean ride. Luke was so excited about it. Well the day got there. Luke cried the whole time down to the boats. We tried to calm him, comfort him, tell him that he would love it, but when we got to the loading of the boats he started to scream bloody murder. The kind where you are embarrassed for anyone to see you with your kid. Anyone relate to that? So, I escorted him off the ride. Shocked that my little Jack Sparrow was not going to ride the Pirate ride. The next day we were at the Magic Kingdom. We had them all where there costumes. We went on a few scarier rides, and Luke came too. After the Haunted House I aske Luke, "Wow, wearing your costume has made all the difference. Hasn't it?" He replied, "The way I see it, they are more scared of me now than I am of them." Well okay then, needless to say he rode on the Pirate ride several more times after that. He also took his picture with "Pirate" Goofy, and try to cut his head off with his sword. Well, he sure was swiping at him anyways.

The Toy Story Ride was a blast and that Army man was right there to get a picture with. Couldn't resist getting Darren the Woody Costume. We know what he's going to be for Halloween. Grandma Busby got them Pirate swords. We could barely get Darren to go to sleep without his. Maybe that had something to do with Luke courage as well.

Darren is so stinkin' cute! He looks so much like Luke in this picture.
