We have been BUSY!!! Keith finally finished his first year of school about 3 weeks ago! I'm LOVING IT! No more studying at least for now. But about a week before school ended we found out that we were no longer going to be in LA for the summer, instead NYC. It is crazy! At first I told Keith that I wasn't going, but I was just totally blown away with the change that it was going to be from LA. We went away to Kansas City for my little sister's wedding in the Nauvou Temple, and we also blessed Darren there. We still didn't have housing for New York when we got there. Keith and I were totally stressing. When we got back from Kansas City for 10 days we had a week before leaving for NY, but we subleased our apt. so it took us all week to get it ready to sublet. Keith blessed Darren, and really it was wonderful, but unfortunately I didn't hear much because Kayla was trying to get out of the pew the whole time. Darren wore the blessing outfit that Luke wore, and alot of my brothers wore. My mom made it.
We are excited that we are near friends here in NY, and would love to have anyone come visit us who wants to. I took the kids to Central Park yesterday, our first full day here. It was really fun. I must say though I have been getting quite the looks from people when they see that I have two kids in the double stroller, and a babe in the bjorn also. I think I must look kind of silly myself.

Sounds so busy- post pics of your apartment when you get a chance! The people we know who had quints were once at the doctor's office and someone said "What, was there a sale at Babies R Us?" So you aren't alone in weird looks and comments!
Wow! Sounds like a busy time! We're soon to follow you...we'll be a 45-minute train ride out of NYC. We'll have to finally connect. :)
i hope everything is going well for you!!! i couldn't believe that you got switched to nyc -- i would have been tempted to stay behind myself. i can't wait to read about more of your adventures.
Wow, you all have been so busy. Kent and I were sad to hear that Keith wouldn't be headed to LA. I know it's selfish, but we were looking forward to spending time with you and the family this summer. Oh well, NYC is probably more of an adventure. Enjoy all the new sites!
Oh and as far as the stares go, I just read an article about how only NYC's elite can afford to have 3 kids in the city. I'm thinking A. You're really young to have 3 kids in NYC B. Everyone's wondering where you live or C. People think you're someone else's nanny.
Darren looks so much like Keith! We were bummed when we heard that you went to Nauvoo because we would have loved to meet you there! Oh, well. We'll just have to come visit you this summer in New York!
Awww, I love that last picture of Kayla and Darren. But these picture remind me how much I miss y'all! I also miss your washer and dryer, but that's beside the point :)
Darren gets cuter and cuter.
Update more often, okay?
Much love,
Laura
Wow- New York- that is crazy. I am glad I found your blog (off the MBASA internship blog thing) I totally admire you- three little kids and you even let your husband go to Africa- you are awesome. I am sure this will be an adventure filled summer for you. Good luck with everything.
Are you just going to be in New York for the summer? I can't believe how big your little baby is just from the pictures on your last post!
Hey!! I'm so glad things are going well for you guys! And to be back in New York, at least you're a little familiar. I love that you went to Central park with the double stroller and the Bjorn. You are one awesome, hip mama. I miss you SOOOOOOO much, I was looking forward to seeing you a bit this summer when you were going to be in L.A. And of course we're going to be in Utah in July when you're not there. We're going to have to make this work somehow. Darren is adorable, just like your other two. I can't wait to meet him!
