Merry Christmas 2007 and Happy New Year

I apologize for my complete Slackerness in not updating my blog more frequently. I have a friend who made a goal to update her blog once a week in 2008...I'm making that one of my goals too. I'm going to do my best to keep up with it. Since, yeah, it has been about 3 months now. I'm terrible. We had a great Christmas and New Year's. This is Kayla and LUke in front of our unfortunately FAKE tree. We decided not to get one this year because we went to Keith's parent's house in Arizona for Christmas and New Year's, but our kind friends in our ward had an extra little tree that would could borrow so Kayla and Luke could have a tree. But really, with little kids, it is almost better not to have one...as you can see there isn't many ornaments on the tree, and the ones that are on it frequently were taken off and played with.

A tradition in the Busby Family is that you get a box of cereal whatever kind you want for Christmas (loaded with sugar and all). We don't usually by cold cereal, and especially not the sugary junk. Luke was obsessed. He was lov'in that cold cereal, and I think he had 3 or 4 full size grown up bowls every day. OUT OF CONTROL!
Kayla and Luke Christmas morning. Kayla really kind of understood the whole Santa Clause thing this year for the first time. It made it so fun. We put reindeer food on the lawn on Christmas Eve, and made the plate of cookies for Santa, and we even "heard" the bells of Santa's Sleigh so that Kayla hurry and raced to bed. She was excited when she woke up and realized Santa came when she was sleeping, but was not too happy when she saw that Santa didn't eat all of his cookies. It was so nice to be in Arizona to be outside in the 70 degree weather, and go to the park, play volleyball, etc. I miss it already, but it is good to be home.
I don't know what else is new with us.... I haven't blogged in a while so. Does Everyone know we are having another BOY! We are getting excited...only less than 8 weeks left, but I am getting nervous because we have no name picked out yet, and I don't want to randomly pick a name last minute. Boy's names are hard though. Any ideas?
We were stressed out last semester with Keith going through interviews and applications for internships, and stressing when we didn't get any offers from the first few, but we did finally receive an offer from Cisco and Proctor and Gamble. We are going to LA for the summer with Proctor and Gamble. They are really headquartered in Cincinnati, but we are going to a manufacturing plant in LA. It should be fun. Hopefully we can get to the beach at least a few times a week.
The kids are getting bigger fast, and they play together well, most of the time. Luke is getting more upset though these days if Kayla tries to own all the toys. Kayla turned 3 on November 1st, and what she really wanted for her birthday was snow, as being from AZ she had really never experienced it. Every time it snows she says," it is snowing for my birthday mom!" She is potty trained now! Wahoo!!!!
Kayla tells me she is having a baby too, a girl though. She is having hers in "2 days". She tells me she is getting married in the Temple, quite frequently as we pass the temple nearly every time we leave the house, and that she is marrying her friend Jack, and she is going to have white, pink, and red roses, a white wedding dress, and she even told me she would help me with the food.... such high expectations at such a young age.
Well, hope all of you are doing well. Have a great week!

First, what did you use for reindeer food? We had a big debate over this after seeing our neighbors run out at 11:00 pm and start throwing something. We couldn't make out what it was. Here are our thoughts.
Grass seed. Why not kill 2 birds with one stone?
Fertilizer. Same reason as above.
Various forms of chocolate candy.
Everyone loves chocolate.
Anyways for boy names...
Alex is a good one. :)
Do you want traditional or unique? What are you going for?
Here are a few:
Steven
Mike
Joseph
Thomas
Micah
Abraham
Josiah
Dylan
Hayden
ASU - For Keith
Landon
Well good luck. If you have any suggestions for girl names, we need them. We also have a post requesting girl names on our blog. We always struggle with girl names. But take care. We miss you guys.
I was so happy to see a new post! Your kids are so cute in the pics! I cannot believe Luke and his appetite. He's going to eat you guys penniless! I love all those cute things Kayla says. She's so smart. And I'm glad she's willing to help with the food. But you might want to encourage her to move up her wedding considering her baby is coming so soon. :)
Congrats on the internship and new little arrival on the way. Greg really liked the name Zepher for a boy but I'm not sure that should be your first pick. I like the names: Kegen, Blake and Tanner.
