Falling in the Duck Pond...

We went to the Botany pond the other day, and Luke kept on insisting that he stand right next to the edge. I can't pulling him back, and telling him he would fall in...but he thought he was the man, and just kept on standing next to the edge...finally, I said, "fine, Luke, if you fall in that's your problem...its not that deep anyways. Thinking he probably wouldn't fall in anyways. A few minutes later he tripped over a tree root and took a dive head first into the pond. WOw! So as you can see he is sopping wet. THat is right after I pulled him out by his leg upside down. Crazy kid. He learned though...he didn't get close again.

It is great to see that you are blogging again, even though we do actually get to see you now. I love this story about Luke and it just goes to show that sometimes you have to let kids learn for themselves if they don't take your word for it. I probably need to allow Adelyn to do that more. You are a great mom! It is inspiring to watch you chase your two around knowing that you are pregnant and probably quite tired a lot. You're amazing!
