Have you ever done a triathlon with 3 days notice? I just did, not intentionally. I signed up 3 weeks in advance, but I had problems with my credit card. So I thought it didn't go through, and because of the BYU Football game and other things going on I figured it was better that i hadn't signed up. But then 3 days b4, I realized that I had signed up, and it was non refundable. I had been running, but I hadn't been swimming or biking since the spring. I biked once, and swam once. I came in 3rd for my age group. So considering the lack of training i was happy. Triathlons are just so much fun. My friend "Mooner"--her last name was Moon, came and watched Darren for me. IT was so fun, and my other Friend Anne Heiner came in 2nd. SHe rocks at triathlons.

That is awesome! Seriously! You're a mother of 3 and can still do that great in something you haven't been training for! Congrats!
What???? You got 3rd! You're so humble to not even mention that when we were together, I tell you what you must have been running pretty dang fast if you finished almost last in the swimming like you said and were able to finish in the top 3. You're quite the competitor. OK, I think I'm inspired, maybe I'll do that triathlon next week, just send me whatever info you have.
