Hey Everyone! As most of you know our little Luke Alvin Busby arrived on May 25th, 2006 to make us a family of four! A family of 4! How fast time flies when you are a buzzbee! He is a really good baby. Sleeping at least 6 hours a night if not more. It is definitely an adjustment adding a new one to the family, but an exciting new challenge and a great joy!
Kayla is 20 months old now, and loves her new little brother. She always wants to hangout with him, but often forgets that he is not as big as her or have the same understanding that she does. She gets frusturated when he hits her with his arm becuase he doesn't have control yet, and then she wants to hit him back. Not cool! She tries to help wipe his mouth since she sees us wiping off spitup, and wants to push him in his swing, share her sippy cup, etc.
Kayla is growing up so fast. She says all sorts of things now like animal, and school bus. Elmo and toy story are some of her other favorite words. She loves cinderella also, and so we just bought her a disney nightgown that has alot of the disney characters on it. She loves it, and wants to wear it every night. She is a fast runner,...a woman at the mall said that I should get her a shirt that says runner on the back since she is so fast! It made laugh because little did she know that I was a runner...maybe Kayla will grow up to run competitively. We'll see.
Luke is amazingly strong. He held his head up the second he was born. Okay, I don't know about that, but really, pretty much from the beginning he could put his head up. He has also amazed me by rolling over from his stomach to his back several times. I thought it was a fluke, but this morning he did it again. He rolled over for the first time when he was only 2 weeks old, and I think we're up to over 15 times now. Crazy!
Keith is busy studying for the GMAT for MBA school. He takes it this weekend. After he takes it we will start thinking more about where he will go for school.
We are going to both run the St. George marathon in October. That will be fun, and get us into shape.
